An analysis of wildfire suppression capabilities was conducted for Alabama and North Carolina to assess the potential consequences of reduced staffing and equipment resources. Tecnosylva's Wildfire Analyst software was used to complete the analysis.

Project Details

The Southern states, like Kentucky, are looking for methods to update the Southern Wildfire Risk Assessment communities-at-risk dataset. DTS is developing GIS models and techniques to achieve this by leveraging the DHS LandScan data.

San Diego Fire Authority
DTS has embarked on an all lands, county wide wildfire risk assessment for the County of San Diego. This assessment will provide accurate baseline fuels and wildfire risk information to support multiple agencies and jurisdictions.

West Wide Wildfire Risk Assessment

Project Details

Oregon Department of Forestry
The Council of Western State Foresters and the Western Forestry Leadership Coalition has embarked on a wildfire risk assessment of all lands in the 17 western states and Pacific islands. The project is referred to as the West Wide Risk Assessment.
