Born in California, but have lived in Colorado for most of my adult life. My folks moved to Bayfield (near Durango) when I was 11 to run a camper park (Five Branches) on Vallecito Lake. Spent most of my teenage summers renting boats, fishing, water skiing and moving picnic tables. Winters were pretty isolated with lots of snow shoveling and snowmobiling. After graduating from Bayfield High School (go wolverines!), I started higher education at Fort Lewis College (go Raiders!) with studies in engineering, skiing and mountain biking. I transferred to Colorado State University (go Rams!) and graduated with a BSEE in the real early 90's. Most of my professional career has been in the ASIC semiconductor test and design. Working for companies such as Hewlett-Packard, Agilent and Marvell Technologies. I am following my passion for software development and quite excited about my current transition into geospatial software development.
