Brian Sovik

Background

Brian has been actively engaged in the real world application of geospatial technology since 1993. Brian has worked in both public and private sectors and is currently in the process of completing a PhD in Geography. As a consultant, Brian has combined his passion for geography with client challenges to always create collaborative and on target solutions. Brian has served as a GIS Expert Witness, has completed dozens of strategic plans, and currently leads applied technologists ready for anything.

Philosophy

It is powerful to embrace that each and every person consumes the world in very different ways – respecting this makes for improved communication. Improved communication removes limits to human ingenuity.

I believe everything is geography. At the very center is the golden rule. Persistence is the key. Life is a series of experiences. Do what you say, in the end all you have is your word. Straight answers - get to the point. Everyone’s time is precious. Change is inevitable and can be counted on.
